Feline lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD) threatens the health of cats, and hematuria, the presence of blood in urine, is a reliable marker of urinary system diseases. In recent years, Lower urinary tract diseases in cats have become more and more common, and the clinical incidence is about 10% of the total number of cat cases, and it is on the rise. After treatment, there is still a high risk of recurrence. In obstructive FLUTD, the recurrence rate within 6 months is 45%, while in the cases without obstruction, the recurrence rate within 1 year is 39%. Therefore, for cats, after treatment, long-term observation and regular testing are required.

Important Note:

The particle test is not a substitute for a medical report. If you notice any abnormalities, it's strongly recommended to take your cat to the vet immediately.

How It Works:

If a small amount of colorless blood is encountered, the test particles will turn blue. They can detect as low as 0.1% concentration of hemoglobin and continuously render color for 48 hours. If you notice a color change, it's recommended to seek medical attention for your cat.

Things to Avoid When Using This Cat Litter:

• No Mixing with Other Litters: The minerals in bentonite can interfere with the test results. This product should not be mixed with other types of cat litter. If mixed, the upgraded version will lose its ability to detect hemoglobin and will function as the original tofu cat litter.
• Avoid Direct Exposure to Strong Light or Metal: Such exposure will cause the occult blood test particles to lose their detection effect.

The test particles are made of natural microcrystalline cellulose, a non-toxic and non-irritating substance. They are effective in testing blood in urine and have shown no harm to cats or the environment.

The quality and effectiveness of the cat litter remain unchanged even if the vacuum seal is compromised.

• Color Variation: Different batches of cat litter may vary slightly in color, which is normal.

How to Use:

1. Evenly spread the cat litter in the litter box to a depth of about 1.5 to 2 inches or 5 to 7 cm.
2. Daily remove and dispose of feces and clumped urine to maintain cleanliness in the litter box.
3. Clumps and feces can be directly flushed down the toilet.
4. It's recommended to replace the cat litter monthly and clean the litter box.

Note: Although this cat litter is flushable, it's advisable not to flush a large quantity at once to prevent toilet clogs.
