At Urban Paw Pets, we believe keeping pets happy and healthy should be simple and stress-free. That’s why we proudly offer completely free local delivery across Vancouver — with no minimum order required.
1) Local Delivery — Free & Fast
- Free delivery, no minimums: Every order, big or small, qualifies for free delivery within our local service areas.
- Service areas: Vancouver (including Kitsilano, West Side, Downtown, Fairview, Mount Pleasant, and surrounding neighbourhoods).
- North & West Vancouver: Free delivery is also available on scheduled delivery days.
- Same-day delivery: Orders placed before 12:00 pm (Mon–Sun) are typically delivered the same day, provided products are in stock.
- Back-ordered items: If an item is temporarily unavailable, we’ll notify you right away and secure it from our manufacturer. Most back-ordered products are fulfilled within 2–3 business days, depending on availability.
- Restock schedule: We receive regular supplier shipments on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, so replenishment usually happens quickly.
- Apartments/condos: Please provide buzzer codes or concierge details to ensure smooth delivery.

3) Canada-Wide Shipping
We also ship across Canada using trusted carriers.
- Shipping costs: Rates are calculated at checkout.
- Exclusions: Oversized/heavy items, frozen or refrigerated foods, and hazardous goods (e.g., aerosols, flammable liquids, certain flea/tick treatments) cannot be shipped. These items are available for local delivery or pickup only.
4) Special Handling & Safety
For the health of pets and compliance with Canadian safety standards:
- Frozen, refrigerated, and raw foods: Available for local delivery or pickup only (not eligible for shipping).
- Perishables: Must be received on the first delivery attempt. We cannot leave perishables without explicit safe-drop permission.
- Hazardous items: Restricted to ground transport only.
5) Missed Deliveries
If we cannot complete a local delivery due to access issues (e.g., locked building, incorrect address, or no contact details), we’ll contact you to reschedule at no extra cost.
6) Damages & Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 48 hours if an item is damaged, missing, or incorrect. We’ll resolve the issue quickly and fairly.
7) Delays Beyond Our Control
Severe weather, traffic disruptions, or courier network issues may impact delivery times. We’ll notify you promptly if delays occur.
